The Bushmaster M17S is a semi-automatic, gas-operated bullpup rifle that was manufactured by Bushmaster Firearms International from 1992 to 2005. It features a compact bullpup design, meaning the magazine well is located behind the pistol grip, which reduces overall length. The rifle also uses a rotating bolt and an extruded 7075-T6 aluminum receiver that serves as both the stock and foregrip.
